Black T-shirts. Protests in hospitals

Nurses' protest is taking place at the hospital in Kostrzyn (west Poland), relying on carrying black T-shirts. It is the reason for the action of being behind with payments by the hospitals. Law is binding in Poland recently that the debt collector is able to occupy money allocated for payments. The hospital is into debt in Kostrzyn for over 40 million zlotys.
Arrears in paying payments they are reaching three months. Hospital's authorities secured the payment for workers of 849 zlotys each (1 euro = 4 zloty). However these salaries aren't covering all arrears for these three months. The Workers' Initiative from Poznan is in contact with workers protesting in Kostrzyn.
Last weeks in other hospitals in Poland members of trade unions take up strike and hungry strike to protest against the work of debt collectors and against the privatisation of health service.
On 5th March the WI Silesia is organizing action against liquidation of hospitals in Katowice together with the Trade Union of Nurses and Midwives.
